You'll work across multiple primary care clinics and spend time at a state-of-the-art hospital to develop your clinical interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sole-charge duties at some clinics and collaborative work in a hospital environment.
- Consultations, routine surgeries, and emergency case management.
- Rotas provided at least six weeks in advance to ensure work-life balance.
- Minimum 15-minute consults.
- Opportunities to explore the practices before committing to a fixed role if desired.

About the Practice
The practice operates 11 clinics across South and West Yorkshire, including a 24/7 Tier 3 hospital. It offers a full range of primary care services and advanced treatments, including:
- Advanced diagnostics: X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and access to MRI.
- Specialist services: Laparoscopy, endoscopy, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology, and more.
- Rehabilitation services: Physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy.
The team includes vets pursuing certificates in surgery, imaging, dermatology, cardiology, and ophthalmology, supported by an exceptional nursing and front-of-house team.
The Dewsbury hospital is purpose-built, featuring:
- Large waiting areas with separate dog and cat zones.
- Spacious staff facilities and air-conditioned consulting rooms.
- Fully equipped theatres, dental suites with X-ray, and a visiting MRI service.
