​We at Lloyd & Cowan are thrilled to be working with a practice who are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their fantastic close knit team. They are a relatively small but busy first opinion practice, with a wide range of experience within the team. Their nurses must be able to multitask and meet the challenges of the day.


About them:

They have two very well-established surgeries in the Lincolnshire market towns of Spalding and Bourne, both of which have a loyal client base of well over 20 years. They are situated close to the historic town of Stamford where you can visit Burghley House, Burghley Horse Trials, or Rutland Water, and Peterborough is approximately half an hour away with direct train lines into London.

Both practices are equipped with digital radiography, Spalding has recently upgraded to the CSDR small animal DR system Xray, they have modern ultrasound machines at each branch, endoscope, and in-house blood testing equipment. They also have good-sized theatres and consult rooms for their varied first opinion cases.


Their friendly team comprises of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Nurses ,1 Nursing Assistants, and a full team of Receptionists. They are a very encouraging team who are always willing to step in and work together in times of need and we work hard to provide the highest standards in client and animal care.


Applicant Requirements:

They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who has confidence in their abilities. You will be working alongside a Head Nurse, 3 RVN's, experienced Vets and friendly Reception/support staff. They are looking for someone with good communication skills and a genuine passion for their job as these shines through. It would be beneficial if you were a Clinical Coach, but this is not essential. They can support candidates through future career development with their various Academy's and opportunities.

Salary:

Up to £29,000 DOE
