Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are thrilled to be working with a practice who are seeking an organized and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join their small animal practice. If you’re a qualified nurse passionate about high standards of animal care, this is the role for you.
About them:
Based in the beautiful rural setting of Abertillery, we offer great access to the Brecon Beacons and Cardiff. Their practice is long-standing with a loyal client base and excellent facilities, including 3 consult rooms, a theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and capnography.
Their fantastic team consists of 2 vets, 3 veterinary nurses, and 2 receptionists. They pride themselves on being a close-knit group dedicated to providing the best possible care.
About the Role
You’ll handle a range of general nursing duties including:
Monitoring anaesthetics
Caring for sick animals
Administering medication
Taking x-rays
Running blood tests
Conducting nurse consultations
Hours & Rota
4 days a week, 8:30am – 7:00pm
1 in 4 Saturdays, 9:00am – 2:00pm
Salary:
Up to £32,000 DOE
