We are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a great team! 

You will be responsible for assisting the team with the day-to-day running of a busy Veterinary practice thus gaining great clinical exposure during your varied working day. 

We are representing a great clinic who are seeking a full-time nurse as the current rota is 4.5 days a week, working a 39-hours per week. This includes only 1 late shift a week. They are keen for beneficial breaks; therefore, all nurses have an hour’s lunch break. You would work 2:6 Saturday’s (8.30am- 13.30pm). An they out source all out of hours so there will be no out of hours required, no Sundays and no bank holidays.

Salary for the role is up to £29,000 per annum depending on experience

About the Practice:

The clinic has been established since 1965 and is in a purpose built facility. They have a stunning purpose build practice on the Kent coast with up-to-date facilities, to name a few, a new ultrasound machine, 2 x capnography, scopes and up to date lab equipment. They have a large car park so parking isn’t an issue for staff. The nurses proudly have their own nurse consulting room from which they currently run successful clinics. We are close to the motorway and Folkestone town centre.

About the Team and Culture:

The team are an extremely supportive team and have 3.5 Veterinary Surgeons including the CD with many years’ experiences between them. They will support you with your chosen career path and would love to chat to you about what that might be. They have 6 Nurses: 5 RVN's, 1 student and a VCA. They have loads of experience and run their own consults.

They are passionate about their work, and encourage their nurses in their own individual interests giving time to do CPD and a yearly CPD allowance. 

They have had] nurses take part in behaviour courses, feline nursing certificates, new graduate schemes, wound managements courses. And have 5 brilliant receptionists (3 of them have been with us forever!). They know most of the clients and have a great rapport with them and can therefore help support the building of new relationships between wonderful clients and new team members. And have 1 practice manager who is happy to get involved when needed whether that be cleaning or holding patients during busy times. The practice reputation is built on the conscientious and caring service that it tries to give to clients and their pets at all times.
