The Role:
Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with an exceptional veterinary practice, under the wing of a leading veterinary group throughout the UK & ROI. There is good variety within the nursing team as this is a floater type of role with good support and guidance from the nursing team. Your time will be divided between the two clinics and includes both operations and reception duties.
The rota includes working 4 days per week, with 1-day weekend cover per month with some out of hours cover.
About The Branch:
The practice is a 2 site Small Animal Practice based in the West of Ireland in Galway with both purpose-built units, with good parking. A 2-minute walk from the pier in Barna looking onto Galway Bay and 15 minutes from the fun city of Galway which is very much buzzing during the summer months with lots going on.
We have all the usual equipment including Xray, ultrasound, idexx blood machines and much more. We are a small friendly practice that is part of the community and we have a good relationship with our clients. We are a small dedicated team that likes our work but also values our free time! Work-life balance in a friendly and relaxed environment - what more could you want!?
Currently the team is made up of 4 Vets - 2 full time and 2 part-time, 5 Nurses all full time and are proud to be a good GP practice!
The Ideal Applicant:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and fun Nurse to join this team for the summer and perhaps for longer. Although experience would help a can-do attitude from a new grad would be happily accepted too. As a small team flexibility and working together is important to us. A car is required in this area.
