Are you looking for a permanent opportunity within an established nursing team and practice?

Our client who we are pleased to be working with are seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

About them:

The practice offers a wide range of complex diagnostic equipment and treatment options, including endoscopy and ultrasound. The team are lovely and extremely welcoming.

The practice works to a high level,including:laparoscopic bitch spays, full dental suite including dental x-ray, high quality ultrasound including doppler and digital x-ray. Inaddition,the branch has a large array of surgical equipment including TPLO kit, operatingmicroscopeand full ophthalmology diagnostic tools. Their vets have a keen interest in orthopaedic surgery and have a fully equipped orthopaedic theatre.

The team is led by their knowledgeable lead veterinary surgeon who holds a BSAVA’s Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. The vet team are supported by a head nurse, 2 registered nurses, 2 student nurses, a patient care assistant and 2 client care assistants.

Rota:

You’ll be covering 40 hours per week covering 1:6 weekends and there is no out of hours with this position!

In this role you will:

  • Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.

  • Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.

  • Deliver patient monitoring and care.

  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.

  • Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.

  • Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.

  • Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
