We at Lloyd & Cowan we are thrilled to be working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team.


Rota:

They’re looking for an enthusiastic RVN to work 8am-6/7pm on Tuesday and Thursday as these are the days they operate. They have 1 experienced vet work each day who consults 9am- 10:30am, operates and then consults again 4pm-7pm. 

This role includes reception work and admits in the morning as well as setting up for procedures and pharmacy/ consult support. Working alongside a receptionist or auxiliary nurse 10:30-7:30pm.  

You would be doing anaesthetics with the vet from 10:45am, having your lunch break, cover the desk while the other staff member gets their lunch and then focus on patient care, pricing records, cleaning, sterilisation, restocking etc.

4pm-6/7pm discharges and nurse clinics, plus cleaning up/restocking clinical and none clinical areas. They are open to full or part time applicants.

They are seeking a friendly, organised, adaptable, and dependable individual who is self-motivating and can work independently as well as in a team.

This practice has been very proudly caring for the pets of south Manchester for the last 60 years and is fortunate to have a lovely client base and good reputation. They are lucky enough to have a wonderful cohesive team.

Their aim is to provide a high standard of veterinary care, and they have a great local reputation. They pride themselves on giving honest advice and they don’t work to targets.  

Well-equipped both for their cat and dog patients was well as their more exotic patients that means they can cater for most patient’s needs.

Salary:

​Salary up to £30,000 FTE DOE
