Up to £30,000 DOE | Full-time | Permanent | No OOH
I am working with a well-established, 100% small animal practice on the beautiful Ayrshire coast who are looking to welcome a friendly, motivated RVN into their team from end of April / early May.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys gold-standard patient care, thrives in a supportive team environment, and wants to be part of a practice that’s continuing to invest and grow.
The Practice
This is a multi-branch small animal practice with 2 sites, both conveniently located close to train stations and bus routes, so driving isn’t essential. The team is experienced, approachable and genuinely passionate about excellent nursing standards.
They’re well-equipped with:
- In-house lab
- Digital x-ray
- Ultrasound
- Dental machine
- Access to an external specialist ultrasonographer for cardiology
Two branches are also recognised training facilities for student nurses, so there’s a great learning culture in place.
The Role
The ideal RVN will be confident with:
- Anaesthesia and monitoring
- Nurse consults
- In-patient care and hospitalisation
You’ll be working alongside a supportive group of vets, RVNs and front-of-house staff who value teamwork and good communication.
What’s On Offer
- Salary up to £30,000 DOE
- Full-time, permanent position
- No out-of-hours
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings only (8:30am–12:30pm)
- RCVS registration fees paid
- Funded CPD (actively encouraged)
- Regular in-house lunch and learns
- Hours and salary negotiable for the right person
Why Join?
One branch is undergoing a major refurbishment in the coming months, bringing upgraded facilities and improved services for clients and patients. It’s a brilliant time to join a practice with a clear focus on progression and team support.
