Ready to take your nursing career up a gear? Whether you’re newly qualified and eager to grow, or an experienced RVN looking for a fresh challenge, this is one role you won’t want to scroll past.

This forward-thinking Ayrshire group is looking for a passionate RVN to join their talented team, working across three well-equipped practices in Irvine, Ayr and Kilmarnock. Rather than being stuck in the same four walls, you’ll get to work with different teams, learn from a variety of cases, and keep your days varied and engaging. With strong support in place and clear communication between branches, travel isn’t a hassle — it’s part of what makes the role so dynamic.

Why this role stands out:

  • You’ll be part of a genuinely supportive nursing culture, backed by a Clinical Nurse Manager and RVN Business Partner who truly understand your role and value your input.

  • The team includes RVNs with training in acupuncture, pain management, behaviour and Schedule 3 procedures — meaning you’ll be surrounded by people who love to share knowledge and push standards forward.

  • Whether you’re in consults, theatre or inpatient care, you’ll have the autonomy to work to your full potential, with all the modern equipment you’d expect to deliver outstanding care.

The team & culture:
Across three practices, there are 14 vets, 14 RVNs, 3 clinical leads and 3 clinical coach nurses — all led by four passionate partners, including an RVN. Every voice is heard, and there’s a real focus on communication, support and good humour. Rotas are tailored to individual needs, because work-life balance actually means something here.

What they’re looking for:

  • A qualified or newly qualified RVN with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Someone who delivers brilliant patient and client care, loves teamwork and doesn’t shy away from a bit of variety
  • An enthusiastic nurse who’s up for getting stuck in and enjoying the social side of practice life too

The package:

  • Salary up to £32,000 DOE
  • Flexible hours (full or part time)
  • 1:4 Saturday rota, no OOH
  • Generous CPD allowance with paid days
  • Professional fees covered
  • Private Healthcare
  • Enhanced maternity pay & income protection
  • Pension scheme
  • Staff Discount
  • Access to excellent kit including multiparameter monitors, fluid pumps, BP monitors and ultrasound

If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same, where your skills are genuinely valued, and where you’ll be part of a team that’s got each other’s backs — this could be the perfect fit.
