An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and professional RVN to join a multi site practice working with a large team.
About them
You will be joining a team of 8 Vet Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Nurse and 1 VCA, a 2-colleague reception team, 1 Administrator, 1 Assistant Practice Manager and 1 Practice Manager who work closely together to provide a supportive environment for patients, clients, and colleagues alike.
Specialising in small animal orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery, the practice is extremely well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment providing advanced orthopaedic and keyhole surgery. The practice also deals with a wide variety of cases and has a growing number of insured clients, allowing cases to be thoroughly investigated and worked up to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have high levels of resilience, with excellent attention to detail and great communication skills. A strong level of nursing is essential, as well as a compassionate and dedicated approach to providing an outstanding service for clients and their pets.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
Preparing animals for surgery and supporting in surgery
Administration of drugs, anaesthetic, and injections
Nurse clinics
X-rays
Inpatient care
Cleaning
Rota
This position is full time averaging 40 hours
Salary
Between £24,000-30,000
