The Role
We have an exciting role at a brilliant clinic in Bangor area in Northern Ireland.
The role will include all aspects of first opinion nursing including, but not limited to; monitoring of anaesthetics, Nursing sick animals, administering medication, taking x-rays, and carrying out diagnostic tests, nurse clinics, and you will regularly be able to use your schedule 3 skills.
Your role will be a varied one and you will work/assist in all areas of the practice, including general nursing, running nurse clinics and reception duties.
The shift pattern is 8 hours per day over a 5-day week, with 1 weekend in 4 as per rota. We use Vets Now for out of hours. Both part-time and full-time applications will be considered for this role.
About Us
The practice is a 100% SA and dental referral practice, with a friendly and hardworking team. Well-equipped with in-house laboratory equipment, digital x-rays, endoscopes, ultrasound etc. The practice aims to give a high standard of Veterinary treatment. Located in the seaside town of Bangor with good transport links via bus & train to Belfast.
About the Team and Culture
The team is 5 veterinary Surgeons, one of which holds a SA medicine certification and also specialist in dentistry, 3 Veterinary Nurses, 2 ANAs and 2 receptionists. We are looking for a candidate with good communication skills that will work well within their friendly and hard-working team.
