An established, genuinely independent small animal practice in Oldham is looking to welcome a friendly, experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its close-knit team on a part-time basis, with optional holiday cover if desired.
This role is ideal for a vet who wants to enjoy clinical work without sacrificing their weekends. There is no out-of-hours and absolutely no weekend work, offering a rare and genuine work–life balance.

The Role
- Part-time position (days and hours negotiable)
- Small animal caseload only
- Routine consults, general surgery, and diagnostic workups
- No out-of-hours
- No weekends
- Excellent work–life balance
The Ideal Candidate
- Confident in first-opinion small animal practice
- Comfortable with routine surgery and diagnostics
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Happy working independently while supported by a small, experienced team
- MRCVS registered
