​We are representing a busy, well established small animal practice located on the outskirts of Cork city centre. They are in the process of expanding and upgrading their veterinary services, which includes the addition of a new Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team!

They have all the usual in-house facilities and equipment aimed to ensure they offer the highest possible standard of veterinary care to patients and clients. They have Ultrasound, Blood Analysers, Microscopy, Endoscopy, Xrays and more. We have a faithful client base and frequently work very closely with charities.

The location near Cork city means they have excellent access to bus routes into the city centre. Their current team consists of 4 Veterinary Surgeons and 4 Veterinary Nurses. They have an Opthamology specialist and another Vet undertaking a certificate in Internal Medicine. Also they actively encourage continued development and support all interest with CPD.

The Role:

  • This is a permanent, Part-Time position for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon.

  • Day-to-day duties would be routine small animal clinical work that includes surgery and first opinion consultations. You would be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, excellent client communication and thorough work-up of clinical cases.

  • The Part-Time position would require you to work 2-3 days per week which includes a Saturday morning shift every second weekend, 9am-1pm.

  • There is no OOH for this role.

  • Salary for this role is up to €65,000 pro-rata and depending on experience.
