Help shape the future of Emergency and Critical Care

We are excited to be recruiting for a new hospital that is due to be a large-scale, multi-disciplinary, specialist-led referral hospital.

In partnership with the UK's leading provider of emergency pet care, this new hospitals' out-of-hours team will be here to provide an emergency service to local first opinion practices at nights, weekends and bank holidays, and to also ensure continuity of care for inpatients that have been seen by the referral team.

This role will give you the opportunity to deal with a wide range of emergency and critical care cases and monitoring patients from referral services. Your role will include:

  • Emergency triage and procedure nursing

  • Inpatient care within our ICU, general and isolation wards

  • Monitoring anaesthesia of emergency services

Potential candidates will be passionate about the care they deliver and have a real enthusiasm for learning with the ability to work within a fast-paced emergency service.

The successful candidate in this vet nurse role will be - 

  • An RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets

  • Experience in an ECC environment is advantageous
    Working pattern

A full-time role with us will comprise 40 hours per week and will include weeknights, weekends and bank holidays, following an on-off shift pattern. They are also welcoming part-time applications for this role.
