This role oversees locations in Leesburg, Richmond, and Springfield, Virginia, where teams deliver outstanding care supported by advanced oncology therapies, such as the Varian EDGE in Leesburg. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and quality of all medical services across locations.

  • Drive “best practice” clinical operations, staff efficiency, and optimal client experience.

  • Build and maintain relationships with referring veterinary practices.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop clinical team members, including veterinarians and technicians.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implement effective policies and procedures.

  • Monitor medical quality, report findings to senior management, and recommend improvements.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited university.

  • Board certification in medical/radiation oncology, radiology, or internal medicine (DACVIM-O, DACVR-RO, DACVR, or DACVIM-SAIM).

  • Minimum of 5 years in clinical, scientific, or industry roles, preferably in high-volume, multi-specialty or multi-location settings.

  • Virginia veterinary license eligibility.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to travel to each of the three locations regularly.

Schedule:

  • Four-day work week with a balanced mix of two clinical days and two administrative leadership days.

  • No nights or weekends.
