This role oversees locations in Leesburg, Richmond, and Springfield, Virginia, where teams deliver outstanding care supported by advanced oncology therapies, such as the Varian EDGE in Leesburg. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the development, implementation, and quality of all medical services across locations.
Drive “best practice” clinical operations, staff efficiency, and optimal client experience.
Build and maintain relationships with referring veterinary practices.
Lead, mentor, and develop clinical team members, including veterinarians and technicians.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implement effective policies and procedures.
Monitor medical quality, report findings to senior management, and recommend improvements.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited university.
Board certification in medical/radiation oncology, radiology, or internal medicine (DACVIM-O, DACVR-RO, DACVR, or DACVIM-SAIM).
Minimum of 5 years in clinical, scientific, or industry roles, preferably in high-volume, multi-specialty or multi-location settings.
Virginia veterinary license eligibility.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to travel to each of the three locations regularly.
Schedule:
Four-day work week with a balanced mix of two clinical days and two administrative leadership days.
No nights or weekends.
