​We at Lloyd & Cowan are thrilled to be working with a practice who are looking for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse join their 24-Hour Hospital, due to an internal movement.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required; you will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and be happy to get stuck in wherever needed. You will see a wider range of cases whilst working alongside experienced colleagues and certificate holders. This is a great opportunity to work in a busy hospital environment whilst gaining great exposure and valuable experience.

Role:

You will work alongside multiple experienced vets who will work a combination of 7 on 7 off and 7 on 21 rotations. The hospital take out of hours for 17 clinics and you will have the support of an on call nurse when required.

Rota:

The successful Night RVN will be eager to continue their nursing career within an Emergency and Critical Care role, they can offer the following working patterns either 7 nights on 7 nights off (42 hours per week) or 7 nights on 14 nights off (28 hours per week) or 7 on 21 off (21.5 hours per week).

Your Skills and Experience:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.

  • Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.

  • Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.

  • Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.

  • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
