Position: Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Athlone
Caseload: 50% Small, 30% Large, 20% Equine
About the Practice: Our client's practice is fully equipped with all the tools you need, including digital x-ray, Idexx blood analysis, ultrasound, dental facilities, gaseous anaesthesia, Equine x-ray facilities, large animal surgery, stocks, stables, and calf pens. The practice has a well-established team comprising 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 Registered Vet Nurses, and 5 support staff, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Working Hours:
Full-time position, 40-50 hours per week
Work over 4.5-5.5 days
Typical shifts between 9 am - 6:30 pm or 8:30 am - 4 pm, evenly spread during the week
1 in 4 Saturday mornings during Spring and 1 in 8 during off-peak season (on-call OOH)
Half Day in lieu of working the weekend
