About the clinic:

The practice is a well-established practice with a long history of providing top-notch care to the community. Some of the colleagues have been with them since their doors first opened. What sets them apart is that we are locally owned and operated, allowing them to deliver personalized care and give each team member a voice in shaping the practice.

As a Lead Vet, you will be the role model for your clinical team, dedicated to developing individuals to reach their full potential. They have a varied case load, supported by visiting Referral Vets, offers opportunities to gain experience in Orthopaedics and Advanced Soft Tissue Surgery. They value clinical independence, encourage CPD, and support certificates as they continuously strive for excellence in patient care.

They are proud to be an Approved Veterinary Nurse Training Practice, RCVS accredited, Silver Cat Friendly Clinic (ISFM), and a Rabbit Friendly Practice (RWAF). The practice is fully equipped with digital X-ray, a new ultrasound machine with cardiac probes and ECG, in-house lab, oxygen chamber, and blood pressure monitors.

What Makes this Role Different:

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the standards within the practice, putting your stamp on patient care. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours), inclusive of weekends (1:4 basis, moving to 1:5), with no OOH's. They value work-life balance and are open to flexible arrangements.

You'll be supported by an experienced nursing team, enabling you to focus on providing the highest level of veterinary care.
