Job Title: Lead Veterinary Surgeon
Salary: Up to £70,000 (D.O.E.)
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days, 1 in 5 Saturday rota, no OOH. Part-time applicants welcomed.
Our client who we are thrilled to be working with has a Lead Vet opportunity to join their team.
Role:
The Lead Veterinary Surgeon role is key to the team's success. You will be leading and working alongside a full clinical team of vets, nurses, and receptionists across all practices, aiming to provide the highest standards of care while, maximising convenience, reducing customer effort and bond clients to the Practice.
The Lead Veterinary Surgeon is responsible for managing the clinical activities of the Vets and acts as the first line of management, developing the team to optimise uptake of clinical services.
In the Lead Veterinary Surgeon role, you will work closely with and support the Clinical Director to provide leadership, coordination, appropriate training, and development to the team. You will also need to take part in the day-to-day organisation of the team, responding to requests for unplanned absence cover.
When you're not deputising, you'll undertake duties of a vet. A surgical certificate would be desirable, however, not essential. They encourage and support certificate study if desired.
