We're working with a progressive, well-equipped practice in Dublin that’s part of a smaller veterinary group — offering the perks of a corporate with the autonomy and culture of an independent. They’re now looking to welcome a Lead Vet to guide their growing clinical team.
This is a rare chance to take on a leadership role without the burden of HR responsibilities — instead, your focus will be on clinical standards, mentoring and delivering excellent care.
The Role:
Full-time position across 4 days (no Sundays or OOHs)
1 in 3 Saturdays, 9am–1pm
Clinical leadership: mentoring, guiding standards, and supporting a cohesive vet+RVN team
Surgery-focused: including dentals, soft tissue, spays, neuters, mass removals (no cruciate)
20-minute consults with built-in admin time
Work closely with an experienced Practice Director who handles HR and operations

3 RVNs, 1 ACA, 3 Receptionists, 1 Practice Director
Busy surgical and dental caseload
Home to certificate holders
Well-equipped with modern surgical and dental facilities
Local decision-making with clinical freedom and autonomy
What They’re Looking For:
A confident surgeon with strong general practice experience
Ideally, someone with an interest or certificate in dentistry or imaging (not essential)
Natural leader who enjoys mentoring and working collaboratively
Motivated and invested in clinical standards and team development
Must be VCI registered with a minimum of 3 years of experience
