A respected, multi-branch mixed practice in County Tyrone is seeking an experienced Large Animal Vet to join their dedicated 8-vet farm team in Co. Tyrone. This well-established group is known for delivering high-quality farm services across the region, with a strong focus on consultancy, herd health, and fertility management.

The role offers exposure to a wide variety of work, from dairy herds of 30–1,100 cows to suckler herds, beef finishing units, sheep flocks, and even the occasional camelid. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team with access to excellent diagnostic facilities, in-house lab services, and progressive herd health programmes.

This practice is highly engaged in the local farming community and has a strong reputation for building long-term relationships with clients. Vets work closely with farmers to improve productivity, animal welfare, and sustainability, offering services such as routine fertility visits, mastitis control planning, nutritional advice, and infectious disease management.

Alongside your clinical work, there’s scope to be involved in farmer meetings, youngstock workshops, and on-farm training sessions, allowing you to share your expertise and strengthen client relationships.

Package & Benefits:

  • Salary up to £75,000 DOE
  • CPD allowance with support for certificates and further training
  • Company vehicle and mobile phone
  • Professional fees paid
  • Relocation assistance considered
  • A supportive rota with good work-life balance
  • Access to a broad and varied caseload, with clinical freedom encouraged

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a team environment, enjoys working closely with farmers, and wants to develop their career in a well-resourced, forward-thinking setting.
