The Role:
- A 1:2 vet-to-tech ratio means you’re supported in the field by a skilled team of veterinary technicians who handle scanning, syncing, metri-checking, vaccinating, and more.
- Consult with proactive clients who value their vet partnership. Think more strategic coaching and collaboration.
- Use a purpose-built dairy vet portal that keeps you and your clients in sync with animal health plans, alerts, and actionable farm data.
- Be part of a team that’s pioneering wearable tech and data-led herd management in the dairy space.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, proactive care to dairy herds
- Lead herd health planning, fertility management, and disease prevention
- Use tech and data to guide on-farm decision-making
- Build strong, long-term relationships with farmers
- Take part in a rotating after-hours roster
About You:
- MUST be eligible for registration in New Zealand
- Passionate about production animal health and the dairy sector
- Confident in herd health, scanning, and clinical care
- Relationship-focused with a coaching mindset
- Curious, open to innovation, and ready to challenge the norm
