This exceptional practice are now seeking a highly motivated compassionate veterinarian to join their 2 vet 7 nurse dedicated team. The practice is nestled just behind the Western Regional Park in a beautiful village like atmosphere with surrounding parklands.
They are fortunate enough to have a very friendly passionate animal loving community supporting them. The small animal hospital has been part of the community for over 20 years and has been involved in rescue work. The practice is well equipped and spacious with digital radiology, in house Idexx catalyst pathology, ultrasound, pulse oximetry, Parks doppler, infusion pumps IM3 dental equipment and more. And they have visiting specialist surgeons and sonographers attend the practice regularly.
The successful candidate would be passionate about being a vet and loves working closely with both people and their pets. They must display a high standard of care, work efficiently in a busy environment and ultimately be a team player. The new graduate will always be supported by the experienced vets on the team.
The new graduate will be willing to work cases up using industry gold standards and be considerate of the pet and their owner’s needs.
Communication skills are highly sort and dedication to further education and learning is paramount.
You will always be supported by experienced vets and the highly trained friendly nursing staff. You will become a valued member of the team and be encouraged to build your very own client base. If you are keen to develop your problem solving and surgical skills, then this is an ideal environment to do so.
The position is a four day week and will include some shared weekend work.
There are NO AFTER HOURS.
Salary will be negotiable from $70,000 - 75,000+ plus super and usual entitlements as well as 1 week study leave and $1000 per year study contribution.
