Your role and responsibilities:
Are you working towards/have a certificate in exotics?
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Vet Surgeon with an exotics bias to join a great team based in the midlands. You will be working alongside 13 other vets including those with similar exotics interests for case discussion.
The clinic have a strong client base of reptiles, small mammals, and birds, which is constantly growing. They have the facilities to operate, and hospitalise exotics. Their dedicated night team, allows cases to be managed thoroughly. Ans their large cases load including monthly visit to manage the local colleges animal department. Current case load would forfill 50% of working time, with the ability to increase it with management team.
You will be joining a very welcoming team who all support each other. Management structure allows for career progression in all avenues. They hold regular clinical meeting, and strive to continually develop and maintain high standards of care. All associates are committed to the care of clients and their pets.
About the Practice:
The practice are a primary care, multi-site practice, focusing on small animals and pets. Based in a fantastic location with great transport links and close to an airport!
They provide 24-hour emergency service which is well equipped to deal with a broad range of operations from routine neutering, exploratory laparotomies and orthopaedics. The 24-hour site allows exceptional patient care supported by internal lab with great testing scope (cortisol, bile acids, blood gases, ionised calcium, in house culture and sensitive testing etc.).
