If you’re seeking a role where your skills truly matter and every shift brings meaningful impact, this could be the ideal next step.

This after-hours emergency hospital is dedicated exclusively to urgent and critical care—meaning no wellness visits, no routine appointments, and no daytime general practice flow. Instead, you’ll step into a purpose-built environment designed for high-acuity medicine, immediate decision-making, and cases that challenge and grow your clinical abilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll manage the full spectrum of emergency and critical care presentations—from trauma, toxicities, and heatstroke to envenomations, respiratory distress, and surgical emergencies. With advanced diagnostic tools and strong technician support, you can focus on delivering confident, compassionate, high-quality medical care.

It’s a warm, welcoming community that offers both comfort and opportunity.

What You Bring

DVM degree and an active Alabama license
• A strong interest in emergency medicine
• The ability to remain calm and decisive during critical cases
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Experience in emergency or general practice is preferred, but all levels are encouraged to apply

What You’ll Receive

You’ll be supported with a tailored compensation and benefits package that recognises your expertise and commitment, including:

Competitive salary structure with additional pay for overnights and weekends
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
CE funding plus paid time to attend
Paid time off to maintain work-life balance
State and DEA fees covered
Professional liability insurance for peace of mind
Retirement plan options to support your long-term goals
• A well-equipped hospital with digital radiography, in-house lab capabilities, oxygen therapy, endoscopy, a dedicated surgery suite, and consistent technical support

If you’re looking for a role where your skills are valued, your growth is encouraged, and your impact is immediate, I’d love to arrange a confidential conversation to explore whether this opportunity aligns with your goals.
