We are seeking an equine vet to join a friendly team! 100 % Ambulatory equine role; 4.5 days a week and 1:6 on call rota

They are a proud independent, equine only practice with an excellent clientele ranging from pleasure horses to international competition horses. Situated on the edge of the picturesque Peak District and close to the centre of Sheffield, the practice is very well located with easy access from the M1, M18 and A1.
This is an ambulatory position with a dedicated clinic day every week with the senior vets which will provide time to follow up cases. With stabling facilities for 8 horses, Sheffield Equine Clinic is well equipped with two fully mobile DR X-ray machines, portable scanners as well as an in-clinic scanner, fully mobile gastro- and endoscopes, mini laboratory, and Pro-stride machine. They are are also a BEVA approved AI centre for chilled and frozen semen providing reproductive services to clients.
They have a close working relationship with the main referral site. This has state of the art surgical facilities, inpatient stabling for 32 horses and an MRI and CT machine.
They also provide veterinary cover at Wetherby racecourse, British Eventing/Show jumping and FEI events.
Would suit either a new or recent graduate with plenty of support available from other veterinary team members or more experienced vet wishing to develop an area of interest.
Certificates encouraged.
Long weekend off following a weekend on call.
Same afternoon off each week.
Optional vehicle provided.
Salary dependent on experience and usual package including CPD, RCVS and BEVA subscription.
