Our client, a highly regarded independent veterinary hospital just north of Christchurch, is seeking a passionate Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated after-hours team.

About the Role:
You’ll play a key role in providing exceptional care for emergency and hospitalised patients, working a mix of day and night shifts in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
You’ll have access to world-class equipment - including CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, and a full IDEXX suite - while being supported by a large, multidisciplinary team of over 100 professionals.
What You’ll Bring:
A recognised veterinary nursing qualification (degree, diploma, or certificate)
Strong clinical experience, ideally in emergency or hospital nursing
Confidence with IV catheter placement, anaesthesia, fluid therapy, and critical care
Calm, efficient decision-making under pressure
A proactive, compassionate attitude and commitment to top-quality patient care
