Veterinary Surgeon – Referral-Lite Role in a Leading Leeds Hospital
Looking to work in a hospital that bridges the gap between general practice and referral without losing the team vibe? This modern, purpose-built facility in Leeds is offering a rare opportunity for a Vet Surgeon who wants clinical variety, advanced cases, and a proper work-life balance.
The Role
This full-time post offers a 4-day working week (35–40 hours) and includes:
1 general surgery day
1 consult day (30-min slots, sick pets only – no boosters all day!)
2 evening inpatient/ECC shifts (3pm–10pm)
1 in 4 weekends on ECC (Sat/Sun, no sole charge)
You’ll be hands-on with more complex cases—think hospitalised patients, ECC support, and advanced procedures—with the reassurance of a strong team around you.

Procedures: chest drains, O-tubes, catheters, TFAST/AFAST scans
