They are a reputable veterinary provider of choice for the community, a place you are proud to work, where they support each other to progress as individuals and as a practice.

They boast running both a 24/7 OOH/Referral Hospital and a thriving first-opinion business within the same site. This enables them to provide highly supportive, educational opportunities for both veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses at all stages in their career (i.e from graduation to internships/referral experience). Plus provide their clients with fully comprehensive facilities, expertise and help with all stages of their pet’s veterinary needs.

The Role:

  • Holding monthly meetings and individual appraisals as appropriate. Encourage ongoing development and areas of suggested improvement with both individuals and the practice.

  • Manage and comply with Health & Safety Regulations and local policy at the Hospital. Work with the Hospital Manager to improve protocols where necessary and deliver training for implementation of best practice.

  • Customer Service. Being able to understand and anticipate the customer’s needs, to support provision of high-quality professional service to clients.

  • Support the Client Service Manager, and Finance Manager with client complaints.

  • Clinical role model within the practice, working alongside students to assist teaching of clinical skills, supervise and evaluate progress throughout their course and support our current in-house clinical coaches.

  • Support the Hospital Manager with long-term development of the Hospital, creating a positive working environment with massive focus of team member morale and support network

The Ideal Applicant:

a) Veterinary Surgeons or RVN’s with a passion for veterinary hospital & people management (no practical clinical work required in this role);

b) strong, experienced People Managers (preferably with knowledge/experience in the veterinary industry).
