Your role and responsibilities
Due to continued success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Surgery Certificate Holder to join a great Hospital within a certificate-led referral team.
The hospital is a training practice and work closely with local universities & training colleges.The fantastic team is very supportive, and they pride themselves on working well as a team.
You would be based in a busy veterinary hospital, where you will join the referral service and be involved in driving the service forward in both Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic disciplines. This position is for a surgery certificate holder. You will be expected to manage both an internal and external referral caseload. There are also opportunities to deliver external CPD to local referring practices and the practice team.

Based in the wonderful city of Leicester. Leicester is the largest city in the East Midlands and is a modern city steeped in years of history and there is lots to do locally whether you enjoy the great outdoors/countryside or prefer the hustle and bustle of the city. East midlands airport is less than a one-hour drive away and you can visit lots of other cities in under 2 hours, including the capital.
They have all the usual kit including digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, ASIF and Synthes kits, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope together with planning for laparoscopic equipment investment. Also they have a CT scanner on site.
You will join a friendly and enthusiastic team of vets (including certificate holders) and nurses (including two surgical diploma holders), as part of a longstanding referral service, backed up by a dedicated primary care & hospital teams and their own on-site OOH
The ideal candidate for the role will have a surgery certificate and at least 5years of clinical experience.
