We at Lloyd & Cowan are thrilled to be working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy Hospital on a permanent basis.

Successful Candidate:

The successful candidate will work alongside their diverse and highly experience team to provide a high level of care for their patients. You’ll be required to take part in all aspects of first opinion practice, from routine operations and consultations. They offer a varied caseload of medicine and surgery.

Flexible rota:

They offer flexible working patterns that flex with you and your lifestyle. Whether you are looking to flex your rota hours to balance the school holidays, flex to navigate the school runs or just looking to strike that balance between home and work life. They can offer flexibility that actually works for you. A standard full time vet within their team generally works 40 hours per week, having said this, they’re more than happy to support different hours/ rotas, whether that’s full or part time depending on what works for you. 

About them:

This practice is a tier 3 RCVS accredited hospital and is an ISFM gold standard cat friendly practice. They are a nurse training practice. Their experienced team, including several certificate holders in ECC, ophthalmology and 2 in surgery and many of their nurses have advanced qualifications as well, allowing them to deal with a wide variety of both medical and surgical cases in house. They are close to Leeds and Bradford, if it is city life that interests you, and close to the Yorkshire Dales for those with outdoor passions.


​Up to £75,000 DOE with a welcome bonus of up to £5000 (pro rata) and up to £5000 for relocation support, full sponsorship for candidates that require it
