Our client who we are thrilled to be working with is looking for a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis. A typical role would offer a well balanced caseload between operating and consulting. However, they’re happy to tailor the role based upon your own clinical interests. Also, they’re thrilled to offer full certificate support for any candidates that require it.

Rota:

They are in a fortunate position to offer a truly bespoke rota to suit your needs whether that be part time, flexi time, term time only, hours to work around the school run or evenings only with other combinations that work for you. If you need to have the school holidays off, they are able to accommodate that. You will be required to participate in a Saturday rota, with time given back in lieu of these hours. Ideally, they’re looking for someone that can cover anything up to 20 hours per week, there is no set days for this!

About them:

Their fantastic team is currently made up of 5 vets (2 with medicine certificates, and 2 studying imaging and ECC respectively), 6 nurses, a student nurse and 4 client care coordinators. They are proud to have a behaviourist nurse, ECC nurse and ISFM nurse within the team and they have a mobile imaging specialist, cardiologist, and medic for support. They're a well-equipped site with digital x-ray, a new ultrasound machine, they have an internal referral clinician in cardiology & diagnostics, tonovet, dental machine, Dental x-ray, idexx procyte dx haematology, idexx catalyst one biochemistry, idexx sedivue dx, new microscope, otoscope/ophthalmoscope, 2 multi-parameters, ECG machine and a doppler.

They are a friendly team with a family ethic, and they enjoy regular team meals out. They believe in well being and try to ensure they arrange regular treats.

Salary:

​Up to £70,000 (pro rata) depending on experience, plus relocation assistance of up to £5000
