Our client who we are pleased to be working with a practice who are looking for a full-time small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them from September 2024.
Who they are looking for:
They are looking for a caring, confident team player who has enthusiasm and great communication skills. They have three branches so some sole charge will be expected and for this reason they are looking for someone with the relevant amount of experience.
Working pattern:
The job entails a 4-day week, 8:30am-6:30pm with one late night until 8pm every two weeks with an inpatient check at 10pm if required.
The weekend rota is:
1:10 full weekends (Saturdays 8:30am – 3pm; Sunday 9am – 12pm);
1:10 Friday until 7pm / Saturdays (8am – 3pm)
About the practice:
Their practice is a purpose-built barn, set in the beautiful countryside of Berkshire, with two branches in Marlow and Bourne End.
They have excellent clinical facilities, including a dedicated dental suite with radiography, isolation kennels, ultrasound and x ray rooms, and the whole building is fitted with air conditioning.
They are a friendly 10 vet team with a wealth of experience, who strive to offer an exceptionally high standard of care. They have cardiology and medicine certificate holders and are more than happy to support this if desired. Their vets have a varied clinical interest, with access to excellent clinical equipment including endoscopy and laparoscopy.
Salary:
Up to £60,000 DOE
