The Role:
We at Lloyd & Cowan are thrilled to be working with a practice who are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their long-standing and close knitted team.
This practice has a wonderful, experienced three vet team. They have a fantastic nursing and support team made up of their Practice Manager, Student Nurses, Patient Care Assistants and Receptionists.
They have a high surgical caseload, they do a lot of neutering and also work for two local charities.
Someone interested in Cardiology or Internal Medicine would complement their teams skill set well however they can also consider a confident recent graduate.
Full time salary package up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience to include:
- 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
-4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends.
- 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)
- Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay
- £1,500 CPD Allowance plus 3 days CPD leave (FTE)
- RCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid

The Branch:
The practice is equipped with all the usual kit, in-house blood machines, digital X-ray, ultrasound.
The practice feeds into their well-established 24h Hospital for out-of-hour care, managed by their dedicated night team. All their practices share the same software, so the team will have access to your patients’ history at all times; case continuity guaranteed!
Location:
Orpington is a fantastic place to live! They are close enough to London to be able to enjoy all that it has to offer, city lovers can be in London Bridge in just 30 min while nature lovers have the National Trust. They're also nearby to lovely countryside, some of their team have horses so it's a great place to pursue this hobby.
