Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis.
About them:
This practice is a progressive, North Dublin based hospital group. Situated close to Dublin city centre and the idyllic Dublin coastline. They pride themselves on their welcoming team who are committed to patient and client care. Working between their well-equipped branches will ensure you see a varied caseload and allow use of their facilities.
Their team currently consists of 16 Veterinary Surgeons, over 25 Veterinary Nurses and many support staff across all their practices. They have many certificate holders in anaesthesia, small animal surgery, feline medicine and more. Their team is friendly and driven where they value feedback and open communication.
The Role :
This is a permanent, full-time position; however, they are equally happy to discuss part-time, flexible contracts if suitable for the role. There is no OOH or on call with this position.
They offer an excellent balance between consults and surgery with every vet having the opportunity to do both in every shift. Their practice is a progressive small animal general practice with a busy and interesting surgical and medical caseload.
Salary:
Salary for this position is up to €70,000 commensurate with experience and subject to pro-rata. They supply a generous CPD allowance, and certificates are fully funded.
Applicant Requirements
All applicants must be registered with the VCI and eligible to work in Ireland. They are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with at least two years' experience in SA practice and who is competent in all routine consultations and surgery.
A certificate in Diagnostic imaging, particularly Ultrasound, would be preferable but they are open to candidates with less experience if suitable skilled. They are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a commitment to high standards and good client care is essential, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
