The Role
Joining their professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always. As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing their values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, harnessing their one team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.
Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in small animal surgery, including ability to perform TPLO/TTAs or equivalent, fracture repair and complex soft tissue (eg. perineal urethrostomy)
Surgical certificate highly desirable
Willingness to mentor keen surgeons within the practice
Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice
While this is not a consulting role, clear and empathic client communication is essential
The Branch
3 to 5 vets on rota daily, with 2 branch partners to offer guidance and support where needed
Separate cat and dog theatres and wards
A highly skilled and experienced nursing team
Dedicated night team to see your cases through the night on site
Onsite CT, MiLab X7 ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy, and all the expected in house labs
Located close to some of the best of what London has to offer, including the vast green space of Richmond Park
