Are you a passionate, forward thinking Veterinary surgeon looking to progress your career within a modern independently run practice?
Here at Lloyd & Cowan Veterinary Recruitment, we are working with a friendly and professional veterinary practice in Edinburgh, who are seeking to appoint a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon.
Well-equipped surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards. Practice is bright, spacious and air-conditioned and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, separate Dog, Cat and Exotic wards, and in-house laboratory facilities.
You will also work with our other experienced veterinary surgeon, sharing the caseload of surgeries and consultations.
New team member must be experienced, enthusiastic; self-motivated, willing and able to work sole charge and have good general surgical and medical skills.
Full or part time hours available, both will include 1:4 weekends (9am to 6pm) usually 1 weekday off during week (if full time). Working hours during the week are 9am to 6pm.
Growing client base, with a mix of young, healthy pets requiring preventative health care, but also a growing number of interesting medical cases.
Key abilities:
Comfortable with consultations and routine complex surgeries
The ability to provide preventative care to a loyal and returning client base
Ensure a high-quality of veterinary care with modern equipment
Provide support and guidance to less experienced Vets
Shift pattern:
The role is full time, 4 days per week with Saturday mornings shared
There is no on call, Sundays or bank holiday requirements
Requirements:
Registered with the RCVS, or meet the requirements

Remuneration:
Salary from £40k to £62k
