Veterinary Surgeon- Private Independent Practice/ Accommodation Provided

  • Salary to £75,000 per annum

We are delighted to be representing an Independent Practice based in Rochester, Kent who are recruiting a talented Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team of Vets.

The Practice and position:

  • The practice has a high surgical and imaging caseload.

  • Large operating theatre.

  • Settled team of experienced Vets.

  • The practice is offering either a 3-day or 4-day workweek, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.

  • The salary is up to £75,000 per annum.

  • Beautiful two-bedroom accommodation can be provided for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities for the Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon include:

  • Consulting with clients, examining animals, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, and providing advice on animal health and care

  • Performing surgeries, including routine spays and neuters, as well as more complex procedures such as orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries

  • Prescribing medication and providing follow-up care

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service

  • Participating in continuing education and staying current with advancements in veterinary medicine

The Salary & Benefits:

  • The salary is up to £75,000 per annum

  • Full VDS provided
