We at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a practice who are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.
About them:
Their main practice is in the small market town of Lechlade, on the southern edge of the Cotswolds. They are situated by the river Thames and the river Coln and are surrounded by beautiful countryside with plenty of walking routes, independent shops, cafes, and pubs.
Their longstanding, highly qualified team has access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities such as a digital x-ray machine, ultrasound machine, compressed air powered dental tools, an in-house laboratory and more, allowing them to deliver the best service to their clients and their clients pets.
The practice runs with Three FTE vets, a practice manager/RVN, three experienced RVNs and two SVNs. As they are a small team, there is plenty of opportunity for a new graduate to be fully supported and we have a Vet GDP mentor. They would also welcome applicants who want to build on their surgery and/or medicine skills and would fully support training in this. They fully encourage case discussion between all of the team and case continuity.
About the Role:
This is a full-time role with a salary of £40 – 52k, dependant on experience.
They work a 5-day week with either 1 in 2 or 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, seeing emergency appointments only.
They actively encourage CPD with a £1,750 CPD allowance per annum.
There is no out of hours work.
