Ready to Practise Outstanding Medicine in a Truly Supportive Team?

I’m working with a well-equipped, progressive small animal practice that’s looking to welcome an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon who wants more than just a job. This is an opportunity to join a close-knit, experienced team where collaboration, clinical standards and professional growth are genuinely prioritised.

Why this role stands out
You’ll be surrounded by a highly skilled veterinary and nursing team, including certificate holders, who enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting one another. The practice environment is modern, purpose-built and calm, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent care without unnecessary pressure.

You’ll have access to advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including high-quality imaging, laser therapy and ultrasound, with encouragement to explore alternative and complementary therapies if that interests you. Clinical ideas are welcomed here, not stifled.

The role
This is a full-time Veterinary Surgeon position with a balanced caseload across medicine and surgery, including exposure to more complex procedures should you wish to develop further. There is occasional sole charge, so confidence in first-opinion practice is important, but you’ll always feel supported.
There’s no out-of-hours, and weekends are shared on a fair rota, protecting your work–life balance.

What you’ll be supported with

  • Excellent salary up to £70,000 FTE, depending on experience

  • Generous CPD allowance, with active support for certificates and further qualifications

  • Paid professional fees and memberships

  • Strong pension scheme and long-term financial security

  • Structured career development, with opportunities to grow clinically and professionally

  • Wellbeing support, employee assistance programmes and lifestyle benefits

  • Generous holiday allowance, increasing with service

  • A workplace that genuinely values team culture, respect and clinical freedom

Who I’d love to speak with
A Veterinary Surgeon with solid general practice skills who enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues, feels confident managing a varied caseload, and wants to be part of a team where their contribution truly matters.
