Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice who are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team.
Role:
This 3 days a week role is focused on being part of their growing medicine and emergency team. Taking an active role in managing the large caseload they see from their branches and subscribing practices.
About them:
Large central Brighton hospital, with 5 fully equipped branch practices and covering OOH for multiple other practices in the Brighton area.
Their Brighton hospital has 8 consulting rooms, dedicated Cat, dog, exotic, isolation and day procedure wards. Three theatres, and prep areas, CT, dental suite and full inhouse lab with a dedicated lab technician.
Two dedicated hospital vets manage their hospitalised medical caseload daily, and work alongside two surgeons, separate exotics team and their small animal consulting vets. All supported by their fantastic nursing and support teams. Three night veterinary surgeons and nurses cover for their OOH.
Their team has multiple certificate holders and colleagues with a huge range of clinical interests and expertise, including referral services for orthopaedics, ophthalmology, advanced imaging, and exotics.
About the role:
3 days a week ( 12 hour shifts)
No OOH, on call or weekend shifts
Fully staffed inhouse OOH team to hand over too
Fully staffed day team to manage day to day cases
In addition, you will receive:
6.6 weeks holiday per year, including Bank Holidays (pro rata)

RCVS and VDS fees covered, plus one other subscription
£1,750 towards CPD (more if a certificate holder) and 5 days leave

Salary of £50k-£60k, depending on experience and qualifications.
