Are you an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon? Are you looking to work less hours and work within travelling distance of Greater Manchester?

Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join them on either, a full or part time basis to work between 20 and 40 hours per week. You will work weekends on a rota basis with no OOH work required. Due to them being a small site they can offer a flexible rota with a varied case load.


The salary on offer for this role is up to £70,000 depending on experience, pro-rata for part-time. A welcome bonus of up to £10,000 and a relocation package of up to £7500

About them:

This is a well-established first opinion practice with a fantastic local reputation. They run by appointment only and are open between the hours of 9.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Sunday. The surgery provides a fully equipped first opinion service to provide fully comprehensive care and they try to offer a more personal and dedicated service to their patients allowing cases to be worked up to a high standard with the support of their friendly and experienced support team. Should you have the desire to gain additional certificates they will fully support and encourage this.

Applicant Requirements:

The ideal candidate will RCVS registered and have a minimum of 3 years’ Vet Surgeon experience plus also be confident working sole charge, in a first opinion practice. They have a small and close team and would love to add to this team by recruiting someone as equally dedicated, enthusiastic and hard working as they are.
