Our clients modern and busy practice in Launceston, Cornwall, is seeking an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join their team!
Location:
Launceston is a picturesque town based on the border between Cornwall and Devon and the practice is ideally located on a busy and expanding retail park which is easily reached from the A30.
About:
Their purpose built surgery has state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab and monitoring equipment. The team benefit from having a very varied and interesting caseload and a high amount of insured clients providing lots of opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills within the practice.
Role:
You will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and the ideal candidate will be experienced, adaptable and flexible with good general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery. This role plays a key part within an established, friendly team consisting of 2 Vets, a Practice Manager, 4 RVN’s and 3 Client Care Advisors and is led by Jo, Partner and Veterinary Surgeon, who is 16 years qualified.
This rewarding position is full or part time working 20-40 hours per week, they can be flexible with what works best for you! It will include a 1 in 3 Saturday rota and No Out Of Hours are required for this role. Successful applicants should be confident in an occasional sole charge role and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues.
