Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who are on the look out for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
About them:
They are an established instore practice that has been evolving for over seven years, and now with a brand new growing team, they are working hard towards the same vision of providing gold standard care to the local community and their pets. Their caseload is varied across a loyal client base which can be worked up locally, so you can develop any specific interests you have, with certification encouraged and funding available.
Their purpose-built surgery is situated on the outskirts of Barnsley, famous for award winning markets and superb museums and galleries. With the stunning Peak District National Park not too far away, as well as the city of Sheffield within a 40-minute drive, there is plenty to see and do. There’s lots of free parking at the practice, as well as bus and train routes for commuting purposes.
Rota:
This position is full or part time, with no OOHs, and Saturdays on a fair rota basis shared with the rest of the team. And whilst your annual leave increases with length of service, plus annual birthday leave, we’ll make sure you have the work/life balance to enjoy yourself.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have good small animal experience, be comfortable with sole charge and relish being part of a team. You will be keen to work towards the same practice vision of providing gold standard pet care to the local community and your patients.
Salary:
Along with a salary of up to £70,000 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus.
