We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a practice who are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team.
The role will involve a mix of consulting and surgery. They also offer excellent progression opportunities, offering you the opportunity to support the CD and be involved with the financial aspect of the business, as well with the ongoing development of the team and practice. There may also be the opportunity for the right candidate to progress to Clinical Director level in the future.
Rota:
This is a Full-Time position, offering the opportunity to enjoy a superb work/life balance with a 4-day week, no out of hours, 2:6 weekends (Saturday shifts are from 8:00am-4:00pm and 9.00am to 12.00pm). They want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance therefore they are happy to discuss a flexible rota pattern to suit you. Whether you are looking to fix or flex or are needing condensed working days, they are happy to discuss. They would also welcome Part Time applicants.
About the practice:
As a progressive practice they recently relocated to their brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, and continue to invest to refurbish and equip their other 2 practices to the same high standard. The practice maintains state of the art clinical equipment such dental radiography, Virtual Veterinary equipment (VVS) ultrasound scanners, anaesthetic multiparameter and patient warming equipment. They also have a purpose-built grooming salon at their main site.
Their 7 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Animal Care Assistants and experienced Receptionists across the Group. Their CD has an interest in soft tissue surgery and is happy to assist other vets with new procedures. The management team are very experienced and work continuously to provide an environment where all staff feel valued, listened to and provided with a developmental pathway. The team is friendly and supportive throughout and ensuring the mental and physical well-being of all staff is a high priority for those in leadership and management roles.
Salary:
The salary for this role is up to £65,000 DOE plus up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance
