Our client who we are pleased to be working with are looking for a Vet to join their long standing, supportive team and achieve all their career goals.

About them:

They are supported by 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 VCAs, 4 receptionists and a very experienced Customer Care Manager. All their colleagues are passionate about patient care and high standards, and they have great pride in where they work.

Their Veterinary team believe in a no judgement work environment and always conduct ward rounds in mornings to go through all patients care and often have clinical meetings to discuss matters. There are mixed skills within the team with their JVP holding a Surgery Certificate. Here you will be highly encouraged to undertake CPD or certificates that will help you achieve your Veterinary career goals and the care the colleagues can provide.

This practice is RCVS accredited and cat friendly and has separate cat and dog wards. It has 4 spacious consult rooms, a theatre, prep, diagnostic room, and fully stocked pharmacy. The practice also benefits from having a new Ultrasound, video endoscope, digital x-ray, full IDEXX in house laboratory, K-Laser blood pressure machine and multiparameter monitor.

Rota:

The role itself can be considered as full or part time as their colleagues truly believe in creating a real work life balance for all. What you could expect from a typical full-time role in their practice would be 20-minute consults with a 4 day week Monday to Friday, with the excellent addition of an early finish day. The weekend rota is also Saturday 9am to 4pm with a 1: 3 rota. To enhance your work life balance there are no Sundays, no OOH and no Sole charge working! However, if you are looking for part time hours the practice is also very happy to discuss options.

Benefits include:

  • Generous salary up to £60k (pro rata and dependant on experience)

  • Annual leave of 28 days including bank holidays increasing after 2 years’ service

  • CPD allowance up to Certificate level with 5 days CPD leave

  • Funded Visa Sponsorship

  • No OOH

  • Paid professional memberships (RCVS, VDS, BVA)

  • Contributory pension scheme
