Our client who we are pleased to be working with are looking for an experienced small animal vet to join their team, the role comprises surgical and medical duties on a daily basis. Their dynamic team already includes several certificate holders and any new team member' interests would be encouraged and supported.

Rota:
Their full time shift pattern would be 4 week days 8.30am - 6.30pm, a share in the inpatient care rota and 2 in 6 Saturday mornings 8.30am - 12pm. They would be happy to discuss and support flexible working.

Ideal Candidate:
Whilst they offer support to all vets, the ideal candidate for the current role would be experienced to balance the team. Certificate holder not essential but welcomed, confident and competent in independent consulting and routine surgery such as bitch spays.

About them:

This practice was established over 100 years ago as a mixed practice. Today they have their original site in this busy market town and a sister practice in the neighbouring town of Newport, Shropshire. Both buildings are purpose built and house a friendly team with a family feel. They have well equipped consulting rooms, 2 operating theatres at each site, imaging suite with xray ultrasound and endoscopy, laparoscopic bitch spay equipment, Tonopen and dental facilities.

They have a full time equivalent of 6 vets, made up of full and part time team members and 7 RVNs plus excellent student nurses. Vets and nurses are supported by an experienced and amazing reception team. They are a current, progressive and collaborative practice who strive to keep looking forward with high standards and a client focus.

Salary:

​Up to £75,000 depending on experience, up to £3,000 relocation support plus benefits
