Our client who we are thrilled to be working with have a rare opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. The day-to-day duties include consultations, surgery (routine and more complex including enterotomies, cystotomies, caesarean etc) with dedicated admin time. They work to high general practice standards and have an interesting, varied caseload.
The Rota:
Their full-time position is typically over 4 days with a mix of earlies and lates (1-2 per week) and 2 in 5 weekends (one full Saturday only). They have one duty night per week of inpatients. There is no out-of-hours.
About them:
They strive for high standards of general practice and are lucky to have a wide range of equipment and services to offer. They have three (soon to be four consulting rooms), a dedicated prep room and theatre, a separate dental area as well as an x-ray, digital/dental ultrasound room, multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, bronchoscopy, and a full surgical kit. They have separate cat and dog waiting rooms and kennels which allows for minimal stress for all of our patients.
They are a friendly team of varying experience, including 7 Vets, 9 Nurses, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants and 9 Receptionists. Their clinical team have a huge variety of interests from surgery to emergencies, cardiology to opthalmology and although they do not have any certificate holders, they encourage all their team to implement gold standard learnings into clinical practice.
Salary:
Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £2,000
