Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice who are looking for an experienced Vet to join their friendly, passionate team. The role would involve a mix of consulting and operating days offering a diverse caseload beyond just routine ops and vaccinations. They are keen for all their Vets to work up cases as thoroughly as possible allowing you clinical freedom and autonomy and you will have the support of an experienced team of Vets and RVNs to help with this. Clinical freedom and case follow-through is encouraged.
Rota:
Typically, this is a full time position working 40 hours over five days with 1:6 Saturdays and no OOH. They would welcome both full or part time applicants and they are happy to be flexible and work together to find a rota that would work for you.
About them:
They have two clinics, located on either side of Crystal Palace, in South London with excellent transport links. You will work across both their West and South Norwood sites, which offer the same great level of equipment and standard of care and have been established for over 50 years making them a real part of the community. The clinics have digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasounds, endoscopy, multiparameter monitors, in house IDEXX lab machines that perform haematology, biochemistry, electrolytes, sedivue urinalysis. They also have a Tonopen, ECG, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximetry and basic orthopaedic kit.
They have a team of 7 Vets with a wide range of interests, 5 Veterinary Nurses, 9 supporting team members and thy all work together with compassion and empathy to provide current and consistent high standards of care for their clients and their pets. Communication is key and it drives their practice therefore we are always keen to share knowledge across the team and value everyone's contribution.
Salary:
Salary up to £62,000 DOE plus Relocation Allowance up to £5,000
