We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a practice who are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, forward thinking team. This is a 50:50 consulting and surgery role.
Rota:
They are looking for a part-time Vet to join their team; They are open to discussing different shift patterns, the hours would be 24 hours per week. There is a share in the Saturday morning rota; currently, 1 in 3. They only open 8:30am-12:00pm on Saturdays; along with no Sundays, Bank Holidays, and no OOHs so there is plenty of time to enjoy the weekend and achieve that important work-life balance!
About them:
They are a busy small animal town practice, with a progressive attitude that takes pride in the high standards of care that they provide. They have recently invested in dental x-ray and a new dental suite, alongside the usual gadgets such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, tonopen, multiparameter monitoring equipment, blood haematology and biochemistry, bair huggers and blood pressure machines.
They are in the process of building their clinical team but have the potential and facilities to become a 3 Vet practice. However, they have a motivated and proactive nursing team, consisting of 2 RVNs, 1 SVN and 2 VCAs, who provide high level of support and are confident with schedule 3 procedures and consulting. They also have a full reception team and practice manager to provide excellent client care.
Salary:
Salary up to £70,000 DOE plus Relocation Allowance up to £5,000
